Macro focus stacking
A macro shot has paper-thin depth of field, so a single frame is only
sharp in one slice. A focus-shift burst walks the focus through the
subject; this tool measures where each frame is sharpest and blends
those regions into one fully-sharp image, keeping the background bokeh
smooth.
JPEG or PNG sets for now. Everything runs on your device — nothing is
uploaded (privacy ).
What is kept, and what is not
Nothing you load is stored anywhere. Your frames are read into
memory, stacked there, and gone when you close the tab or press
New set — there is no session to come back to and nothing to clear.
Save the image before you leave , and what you save is an ordinary file
that is yours.
Two small things do persist, both on this device: the colour palette
and Day/Night choice, and the practice set once you have fetched it, so pressing
Try a practice set a second time costs nothing. Removing the app
takes both with it and touches no image you have saved.
Install as an app — one, two, or three
You get a full-screen icon that works offline. Open the page you want, then:
iPhone, iPad — Safari's Share button, then Add to Home Screen .Android — Chrome usually offers it; otherwise the ⋮ menu → Install app .Windows, Mac, Linux — Chrome or Edge — the install icon at the right of the address bar.Mac — Safari — File → Add to Dock .Firefox — cannot install web apps on a computer; it works normally in the browser.
Removing it again
Worth knowing before you install: an installed app is not a shortcut , so
unpinning it from a taskbar or dock does not remove it.
iPhone, iPad — hold the icon, Remove App , Delete App .Android — hold the icon, Uninstall .Chrome — open chrome://apps, right-click it, Remove .Edge — open edge://apps, then Uninstall . On Windows it is also listed under Settings → Apps.Mac — Safari — delete it from your Applications folder like any other app.
Removing the app does not touch photos you have already saved.
You're in the installed app right now — it has no Safari Share button,
and links can't leave the app either, so Add to Home Screen can't be reached from here.
Copy the Macro link
then open Safari , paste it in the address bar, and tap
Share → Add to Home Screen there.
Macro and Infrared are separate tools under one
Studio launcher (the ‹ Studio
link up top goes back to it). You pick what to install:
This tool alone — install from here; its icon opens straight into Macro Studio.The whole Studio — install from the launcher: one icon, then pick Macro or Infrared each time.Both, or all three — install any mix; each is independent, so Macro never carries the Infrared editor and vice-versa.
You can add or remove any of them later — installing one never blocks the others.

Opens a plain-text report of what this device is and how the app is set up here, ready to copy into a message, plus a page that measures how fast this device actually runs. It carries nothing about your photographs.
Update to the latest version
Checks for a new version and reloads — use this if a new feature or fix hasn’t shown up yet. No need to close the app.
Colour palette
Changes the colours only — the Day/Night switch above still works the same in every one.
